Beautiful marriages are full of hope, so explore God's plans for them. God designed marriage to be more than 'okay'—they're meant to be filled with love and trust. Thoughtful talks help us resolve conflicts and let go of bitterness. Intimate marriages reflect the deep closeness we're intended to have with God, even in tough times.
Ten sessions with about 16 video classes follow Paul and Linda's book, Building a Great Marriage.
Redemption Through the Scriptures outlines key moments in God's redemptive plan, fully unveiled in Christ’s life and work, and gradually revealed across the Bible. Small details come into clear focus. God’s incredible compassion and goodness are demonstrated in His patience with humanity and His joy in saving and redeeming sinners. The text carefully tracks the progression and purpose of redemptive revelation, showing how God's plan unfolds in the lives of His people. The course follows the typical process of purchasing or redeeming a valuable object: (1) planning, (2) buying, and (3) enjoying what has been acquired. 16 lessons.
Unity: The Forgotten Treasure course answers the millennium-old question, “Why is there so much division in the church when we are supposed to be one?” We believe in unity yet remain in disunity. There are many reasons for divisions, but I’ll focus on the most troublesome one: "How can we remain in harmony when we have varying doctrinal positions?” I’ll generally follow my new book, An Examination of Our Theological Conclusions, but I'm free to go on tangents.
Our 30-40-minute classes will close with your helpful comments and questions! We are trying to replicate a class as much as possible. If anyone is interested, they can join without cost. Please subscribe to get a notification. Learn more about Paul J. Bucknell from his website www.bffbible.org .
A godly man lives in God’s presence. Step by step, he lets go of his sins and draws closer to God (Hebrews 12:14). He learns about spiritual disciplines and begins to apply them to his life. Living in God’s presence softens his dullness as he continually seeks to be nearer to God. It is possible that we have met with Him and yet have forgotten what He has done or said. The pathway, no matter what our condition might be, is the same. Through Jesus, we draw near to God. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”( James 4:8).
We use the book, “The Godly Man:When God Touches a Man's Life,” with ten lessons, two for each main lesson.
